Wellness Manager

In 2022 the understanding of how important the mental wellness of people is at an all time high. My job as the office dog is simple, in between my regular naps I make sure all the Brown Ink team are in good spirits. This involves very little energy from myself, my general practice for coercing a pat is to walk towards a human stop in front of them and then look them right in the eyes and give them my best “sad eyes” look. Which is easy for an English Springer Spaniel, because my eyes were born that way.

Sometimes, and I express that this is rare, but sometimes when the sad eyes don’t work I pull out the “lay on my back with my legs in the air look”.  Oh baby you should see the reaction this gets, they can’t help themselves, it creates what I like to call “tummy scratching heaven”. It’s the price I pay for keeping the humans centred, grounded and happy. It’s a dog life, but someone has to do it, for the Brown Ink Team they are very lucky to have me.

Likes:

Sleeping, walks, playing with other dogs, keeping on eye on the possums

Dislikes:

The vacuum, brooms and pretty much anything that makes noise and looks different.

Ambition:

To work my way into Mum and Dad’s bed every night, I’ll tell you, success is just around the corner.
