WATTLE STATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Wattle Station is the name of a small parcel of land right on the edge of the Otway State Forest. The land once had a railway line, tramway and siding. The siding was created to ease congestion from the Wormbete Station about 200 metres down the railway line. The siding on this land was called Wormbete Wattle Co. Hence the name given to the property, ‘Wattle Station’.

This logo captures the connection with the railway and also the many Wattle trees found on the property. The owners of the land plan to run boutique accommodation and allow visitors to enjoy the wonderful secret that is the Otways.
